To motivate international students to pursue studies in CanadaEnsuring impartiality in the International Students Program (ISP)Enhancing communications and services in all processes of immigration and study permits for international students

The IRCC acknowledged concerns of CIMM and committed to expanding Student Direct Stream (SDS) to attract more students to Canada. IRCC will explore ways to support the transition of international students to permanent residents. It will help students with specific skills, experience, and language proficiencies crucial to settle in Canada.

The Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will review the selection process of international students to enhance communication and service. It will explore ways to improve transparency and understanding during the decision-making process on applications.
