The Latest British Columbia PNP Draw Issues up to 215 Invitations

British Columbia conducted BC PNP draws to invite at least 215 candidates through multiple streams.

On December 13, British Columbia held its Provincial Nominee Program draws by dividing PNPs into general, targeted, and entrepreneur streams.

BC PNP General draw

The BC PNP general draw issued 180 invitations and comprised tech occupations. The minimum scores ranged between 80 and 104. 

The following is the breakup of immigration categories and CRS scores through BC PNP general draw.

Skilled Worker – 104

Skilled Worker EEBC – 104

International Graduate – 104

International Graduate EEBC – 104

Entry Level and Semi-skilled – 80

BC PNP Targeted Draw

The BC PNP targeted draw comprising healthcare, childcare, early childhood educators, and other priority occupations issued less than 37 invitations to apply for permanent residence with minimum CRS scores of 60. The following is the breakup of the number of candidates in categories comprising skilled workers, international graduates, entry-level, and semi-skilled candidates.

Childcare (NOC 42202) – 19

Healthcare – 13

Other priority occupations (NOC 31102 and NOC 32104) – less than 5 

The other priority occupations represent animal health technologists, veterinary technicians, and veterinarians.

BC PNP Entrepreneur Draw

The BC PNP Entrepreneur draw invited less than five candidates for two immigration streams. The following is the breakup of entrepreneur streams and respective minimum CRS scores.

Entrepreneur Immigration (General Category) – 116

Entrepreneur Immigration (Regional Pilot) – 134

Permanent residency through a provincial nomination 

Candidates receiving provincial nomination are eligible to apply for permanent residency. The provincial nomination adds 600 points to the CRS score of the candidate’s Express Entry profile. It boosts the profile for selection through the Express Entry draw. Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) takes the final decision on the approval of permanent residency after checking admissibility and other criteria.
